Hi, everyone. Welcome to Chinese Bridge - “Explore the Taste of Hometown Snacks” Online Study Camp. Food is an enduring topic at all times and all over the world; local snacks comfort the stomachs and emotion for all people regardless of age and gender. China, with its long history and vast territory, has fostered various ethnic groups and abundant food culture. The series of courses will take Chinese local delicacies and snacks as the starting point, exploring the regional culture and humanistic feelings behind the food. We have designed four learning modules including Interactive Lectures, Appreciations of Food Culture Videos, Hands-on Snacks: One dish of the day and Students’ Sharing the Taste of Hometown, by which students will learn Chinese and comprehend food culture, as well as go even further, getting sensual pleasure, spiritual gain and better understanding of various cultures.
