This project focuses on basic Chinese communication content such as Chinese name, self-introduction, country introduction, and common Chinese cultural elements such as sceneries and cuisine in Beijing. The purpose of this project is to enable the elementary level Chinese learners to master basic Chinese communication knowledge in a week-long online camp learning. While learning basic Chinese knowledge, this project aims to cultivate the students’ interest in China and Chinese learning, and understand the basic situation of the capital Beijing. Through task-based learning, experiential learning, immersion learning and other learning methods suitable for overseas students, this project will deepen the students’ understanding of Chinese culture, and create opportunities for cultural exchanges and mutual trust among the students from the Belt and Road countries.
