一、学校简介
Brief Introduction

郑州大学坐落于河南省省会郑州市，由原郑州大学、郑州工业大学和河南医科大学于2000年7月10日合并组建而成。
As a national key university funded by the Henan Provincial Government and the State Ministry of Education, Zhengzhou University was founded through the merger of three universities: former Zhengzhou University, Zhengzhou University of Technology and Henan Medical University.

经过多年建设和发展，学校已经成为一所涵盖理学、工学、医学、文学、历史学、哲学、法学、经济学、管理学、教育学、农学、艺术学12大学科门类的综合性大学。
ZZU ensures the balanced development 12 fields of study: science, engineering, medicine, literature, history, philosophy, law, economics, management science, pedagogy, agriculture and arts.

学校总占地面积6493亩，总建筑面积279万平方米，校本部包括主校区、南校区、北校区和东校区4个校区。
Zhengzhou University has an abundance of resources. The University now has four main campuses (New Campus, South Campus, Technological Institute, and Medical School) occupying an area of 1070 acres, of which the New Campus comprises 799 acres.

学校现有全日制普通本科生5.2万余人，各类研究生1.9万余人，外国留学生2600余人。
At present, the enrolled number of full-time students is over 52,000, with 19,000 graduate students and 2，600 international students.
