Shandong University 2021 Chinese Bridge “Chinese + Engineering” Online Study Program is part of the “Chinese Bridge” online group communication program, supported by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education, and implemented by the Shandong University, it is against the background of the global spread of COVID-19 and the inability to organize the “Chinese Bridge” group to visit China. It is a new measure to maintain Chinese language and culture learning enthusiasm and to meet the learning needs of overseas students, social elites and other personnel. The “Chinese + Engineering” program is centered around the theme of "language learning". It aims to help students overcome language barriers in front-line work or professional courses, and to sort out the structure of language expression related to engineering, improving students' comprehension and expression ability in professional study. The project aims to enhance the students' understanding of China's modernization construction by showcasing outstanding cases of China's state-level projects.
