During the 5th to 21st of January 2022, BFSU Office of Confucius Institutes will hold the 2022 BFSU “The Charm of Culture” Online Winter Camp for Chinese learners around the world. This eight-day winter camp offers 10 class hours of Chinese language courses, 3 Chinese culture-related talks, and a variety of pre-recorded video clips. The courses will mainly focus on “Chinese culture characteristics” to show the unique charm of Chinese culture from different perspectives. The camp features the combinations of small-size language learning tutorials and large-size cultural talks, and of live and recorded videos. A total of 135 teenagers from all over the world signed up for this camp, and they will learn from each other in a short but productive journey. By means of online language and culture learning, this winter camp aims to help students develop a deeper understanding of Chinese culture, which is both extensive and profound, diverse and inclusive, and they will also grow mutual culture recognitions, so that the cultural exchanges and interaction between China and the world can be promoted.
