Clothes is “a historical book wore on the body ”, telling splendid culture in silent language. As the core module of the cultural course, Clothing Culture module aims to enable students understand the visual artistic characteristics and cultural connotation of Chinese clothes. The evolution process of Chinese clothes from antient times to present are introduced to international students in the form of combination of picture and text. This module enables international students understand the historical context, culture origins and life style behind Chinese clothes, so as to further explore the relationship between clothes and culture.
