Chinese calligraphy is an ancient art. With the development of Chinese civilization, It has developed until today. Calligraphy exists vividly in every corner of Chinese modern life. Because of calligraphy, Chinese characters have infinite and vivid formal beauty, and thanks to Chinese characters, calligraphy has incomparably rich beauty of connotation. Calligraphy is the soul of Chinese aesthetics. This course introduces some basic knowledge of Chinese calligraphy, such as the tools for writing calligraphy (four treasures of study), writing methods, the origin and important development stages of Chinese characters, and the Chinese "Fu" tradition during the Spring Festival.
