This course will lead foreign Chinese learners to understand Chinese language, culture and common sense of life in specific situations, and master the communicative language in daily life. It is to cultivate the basic skills of foreign students in listening, speaking, reading and writing in Chinese, provide real contexts, cultivate students’ Chinese communicative ability in specific contexts, help students master Chinese learning methods, and lay the foundation for students’ autonomous learning. The course is mainly topic-based, combined with the actual living and learning needs of foreign students in China, and what they have learned in the class, to extend the teaching content and purposefully lead students to learn Chinese Language, pay attention to the extension of the customs and culture involved in the topic in combination with Chinese vocabulary, grammar, Chinese characters, and comprehensive exercises etc.
