Chinese opera is mainly a synthesis of three different art forms: folk song and dance, rap and burlesque. It originated from primitive songs and dances and is a comprehensive stage art style with a long history. It was only after the Han, Tang, Song and Jin Dynasties that a more complete opera art was formed. It is a combination of literature, music, dance, art, martial arts, acrobatics and performing arts, and has about three hundred and sixty types. It is characterized by the aggregation of many art forms in one standard, reflecting their individuality in a common nature.
