Focusing on the dance found in cultural relics, drawn in cliff paintings, and described in articles, the course introduces the primitive Chinese dance’s background of emergence, content and purpose, facilitating students to understand the spirit of Chinese culture embodied in dance, and appreciating Chinese dance’s beauty.
