Dehong Prefecture Museum of Yunnan Province is an important place for the collection and research of historical relics in Dehong Prefecture. It is also an intuitive epitome of the social and economic development of China and Myanmar and the cross-border ethnic history and culture. Paleontological fossils from tens of thousands of years ago, various pottery pots used by the ancient Dehong people in the Neolithic Age, elephant leather armor and armguards from the Ming Dynasty as well as ancient Indian Ocean ring-patterned coins and so on are displayed in the museum.
