Additive manufacturing, commonly known as 3D printing, refers to the scientific and technological system of directly manufacturing parts driven by 3D data of parts based on the discrete stacking principle. Based on different classification principles and understanding methods, additive manufacturing technology also has many titles, such as rapid prototyping, rapid prototyping, rapid manufacturing, 3D printing and so on. By introducing additive manufacturing terms and key technologies, this course helps students understand the principle, characteristics and key technologies of additive manufacturing.

增材制造,俗称3D打印,是指基于离散-堆积原理,由零件三维数据驱动直接制造零件的科学技术体系。基于不同的分类原则和理解方式,增材制造技术还有快速原型、快速成形、快速制造、3D打印等多种称谓。本课通过介绍增材制造术语及其关键技术,帮助学生了解增材制造原理、特点及关键技术。
