China Grand Canal Museum, an encyclopedia of China’s Grand Canal which is the world’s longest continuously used canal with the largest spatial span and “significant scientific and technological value”, an outstanding representative of the world’s water conservancy projects before the Industrial Revolution. The Grand Canal of China has promoted the exchange and integration of politics, economy, ideology, and culture between China's north and south, and it still plays an important role in communication, transportation, flood control, and irrigation to this day. Looking back, the canals are like footprints, witnessing the firmness of human beings in transforming and utilizing nature. Let us learn about this Grand Canal, which is listed as a world cultural heritage.
