Rural culture embodies the beauty of the countryside and the longstanding traditional values of people in one country. Shanxi boasts 70 percent of China’s tourism sites. Rural courtyard, a model of traditional Chinese residential architecture reflects regional value, thoughts and tradition of Shanxi people. This session will show overseas students the wisdom entailed in ancient Chinese residential architecture and the essential of rural civilization and heritage of traditional culture.
