This course introduces the definition and connotation of data center in an easy and understandable way, and summarizes the composition and development history of data center. By comparing the structural and functional differences between traditional data center and modern data center, this course analyzes the functional characteristics of modern data center from the aspects of standardization, modularization, scalability and virtualization. Based on the concept of safety first, this course introduces the security design of the data center from four aspects: hardware, software, data and human. Finally, in view of the global hot spots such as cutting-edge technology and environmental protection, the challenges faced by the development of data center are analyzed.
