The Art of Chinese Calligraphy, as one of the courses of “Chinese on the Cloud” Online Cultural Activities Program of Xinjiang University of Finance and Economics, lasts for one hour. Chinese characters are extensive and profound, and their writing form has evolved from ancient times to the present into a unique art form with unique cultural value. Starting from the word-making process, the course analyzes the evolution and development of Chinese calligraphy, introduces and demonstrates the core content of basic writing of Chinese calligraphy. Through the appreciation of Chinese classic calligraphy works and the copying of characters used as examples, learners will deeply feel the charm of the unique Chinese calligraphy art and further understand the traditional Chinese culture.
