Understanding China through films Appreciation of film and television works can help students understand China better as its materials come from daily lives. This course will briefly introduce 7 films that reflect ancient Chinese history, 2 Kung fu movies, 2 sci-fi animated films, 13 modern Chinese films and 2 documentaries. The course highlights the main themes which are ancient, present, Kung fu and animation and will display its relevant clips. Student will gain a better overall understanding of China though these clips.
