1Learn the history of the Forbidden City, explaining who built the Forbidden City? Why is it called the Forbidden City? What are the special features, and layout of the Forbidden City? How big is the Forbidden City, how many houses are there and so on? Through the study of lecture 1, students will have a general understanding of the ins and outs of the Forbidden city and lay the foundation for the following studies.
为我们讲述了故宫的历史，告诉我们故宫是由谁来建造的？故宫为什么又被称为“紫禁城”？故宫的布局有什么讲究？故宫的面积有多大，一共有多少间房等等。通过对第一讲的学习同学们能够对故宫的来龙去脉有一个大致的了解，为后面的学习打下基础。
