1Paper-cutting is a kind of folk art with scissors or gravers cutting patterns on paper to decorate life or add festival atmosphere to other folk activities. Paper-cut culture contains rich cultural and historical information, which can not only decorate people's lives, but also inherit a traditional culture. In 2009, Chinese paper-cutting was selected as one of the "Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity" by UNESCO. Paper-cutting can improve the ability to use hands and brains, exercise image thinking, and is popular among the public. In Tianjin, there is a paper-cutting intangible cultural heritage inheritor known as "Brilliant Artist Xu" - Xu Zhiqi. He and his wife continue to innovate while inheriting traditional skills, forming the distinctive Zhiqi paper-cutting. The video shows Xu Zhiqi's paper-cutting works and the process of making paper-cutting.
