This lecture introduces Poetry Reciting. By reciting, with clear languages, loud voices, graceful gestures, and appropriate motions, the reciters convey the thoughts and and emotions of the poetry to bring out the resonance from the audience. Ancient poetry will be introduced in this lecture. By explaining cultural images of the four seasons, students may understand the emotions and thoughts contained in every poem. Besides, by being personally on the scene through the teacher’s explanation, students may may understand the authors’ moods when they wrote the poems. In addition to reciting, students may learn some specific artistic conceptions in Chinese ancient poetry and realize the charm of the ancient poetry with a history of thousands of years.
