The Tertiary Category is open to all students of Chinese language attending any NZQA registered New Zealand Tertiary institute in the Wellington region.

大学组面向所有经过学历评估委员会（NZQA）认定的新西兰大学及高等教育机构，鼓励符合以下参赛资格的所有在校大学生参加。

Eligibility

参赛资格

Students who meet the following requirements are encouraged to participate:

1. New Zealand citizen or New Zealand permanent resident (of non-Chinese citizenship);

2. Brought up in countries and regions outside China;

3. First language is NOT Chinese. Neither parents should be native speakers of Chinese;

4. Full-time registered tertiary students in the wellington region (from Bay of Plenty south to Wellington, excluding Waikato); and

5. Aged between 18-30 years.

符合下列所有条件的大学生均可参加，具体为：

1）新西兰公民或永久居民（非中国国籍）

2）在中国以外的国家（地区）成长

3）本人及父母的母语非中文

4）惠灵顿孔院辖区内（丰盛湾以南至惠灵顿，不包含怀卡托）注册的全日制大学学生

5）年龄在18-30岁之间

Format of the competition

比赛形式及晋级比例

The Tertiary Category Competition consists of two parts: Chinese speech and talent presentation.

For the Chinese speech, each student is required to give a speech for no more than 3 minutes.

A talent presentation of less than 2 minutes is also part of competition.

There is a strict 5-minute limit for the Chinese speech and talent presentation.

比赛包括两个部分：

（1） 汉语演讲，时间为3分钟以内。

（2） 才艺展示，计入总分，控制在2分钟以内。

请注意，演讲和才艺展示总计不超过5分钟。

The top regional competition contestant in the tertiary category may advance directly to the International Competition.

New Zealand may not be represented by the same contestant over two consecutive years. In the event that the top contestant has represented New Zealand in a previous year, the next placed competitor will take their place.

晋级全球总决赛：

惠灵顿地区比赛优胜者将代表新西兰直接参加全球总决赛。

获奖选手不得连续两年代表新西兰参赛，如获奖选手在前一年已代表新西兰参赛，则赴华参赛资格依名次由下一名选手获得。

An opportunity to win a future scholarship to study in China! The winner of the regional competition in the tertiary category may represent New Zealand in the International “Chinese Bridge” Competition held in China ( between August and September 2023).

参赛者有机会获得赴华学习的奖学金！本赛区获奖者将代表新西兰参加在中国举行的全球“汉语桥”比赛（今年8-9月）。

This year’s Wellington Regional Speech Competition will be held on Saturday 27 May 2023 at Victoria University Of Wellington Pipitea Campus.
